Are those two youngsters really the culprits behind this? Or could it have been former hitting coach Alan Cockrell that discovered Griffey sleeping in the clubhouse and flew off the handle and they was relieved of his duties with the club.
I do not know any rook that would throw the Greatest Mariner ever under the bus like that? As KJR-950 AM put it...It just does not add up...paraphrased of course.
Let me know what you think!

Spring Time is a GREAT Time
In honor of the great amazing monsoon like weather we have been blessed with over the last week or so (expected to continue for the next week) I have decided to shed a little positive light on our NW lives.
So everyone just close your eyes, imagine sitting in the bleachers at the Safe with a Budweiser in one hand and a hand full of aroma filled Garlic Fries! If that is not your still take a stroll down Montlake or Stadium Way to hear the sound of pads smacking, coaches yelling, and players cheering as a young player steps up and takes on to the house.
2010 is setting up to have a lot of potential here in the Northwest, both the Huskies and Cougars FB programs are on the rise, and yes I believe both are going to return to their greatness they have achieved in the past. That being said I think that it is very hard in this state to find someone to portray this states college athletics in a open non biased view. I try to do that here, but we all have our down falls. Honestly, I try to be the anti-Brock Huard.
I will give any team praise where praise is due, Jake Locker...amazing athlete and I feel every college coach would love to have Tim Tebow with better throwing mechanics. Just the unknowns surrounding the rest of his weapons on Offense is yet to be seen. Could they win 7 or 8 games this year, Yes. But on the other hand could they only manage 4-5 again, very possible.
I personally love the month of April, which marks the return of baseball, the NFL Draft (first one I will have missed in close to TEN years, thanks ESPN for making it a PT EAST coast event).
So when everyone looks outside, remember, the sun will be shining soon! And we all know this is the most beautiful area in the US during the summer!

Ackley shines bright in AZ and leads BA's Top 10
Now that his bats has cooled off from is hot summer in the desert it is no surprise that 2009 1st rd pick, 2nd overall leads the BA's Top 10 Prospects article that was released today.
One thing that stuck out to me was the amount of position players in the Top 10 for the M's. 8 out of 10. Which is 180 degrees from rankings in the past. Please feel free if you want to take a gander at the ranking at the address below!

Also, I love how Cliff Lee is still slotted as the #2 starter in 2013! I would love the 3 headed montster of Felix, Lee, and Pineda!

Off-season title run...continues!
Ever think a off-season could be as exciting as a run towards the playoffs in late September. Jack Z's magic wand keeps spreading the magic around the great northwest.
Today new chapter is the imminent signing of Felix Hernandez! The deal is believed to be 5-6 years and a little over $100 with incentives.
One believes that where does that leave the newly acquired Cliff Lee. Would ownership increase the payroll to cement the best one two punch in MLB.
Well stay tuned! Have a great Tuesday!

Sorry...
Hello everyone...
Sorry for the delay, it has been an exciting week in Seattle. From Cliff Lee to Jake Locker's return. I have been sick/waiting for everything to be final before making a post regarding the news. So at some point today I will send along my thoughts!
Thanks!
